June Favorites

June Favorites

I can't believe June is almost over!
Here are my favorites from this month and
my most used products.

Love this lip stain from NYC. It's in the shade Persistent Pink,
and it's perfect for this summer.
I've already done a review on this, it's the
Moroccan argan oil shampoo and conditioner from Organix.
You can read the review here

This is the John Frieda sheer blonde go blonder lightening spray.
I like to lighten my hair a bit for the summer and this spray
works really well. You can see a big difference after using it 3-5
times but if you use it to much you might damage your hair
because it dries out your hair.

I bought this hair brush from The Body Shop. It's a pretty
big brush and it works really well.

Review: moroccan argan oil shampoo & conditioner

One month ago I bought the renewing moroccan argan oil
 shampoo and conditioner from Organix.
All Organix shampoos and conditioners are paraben free,
sulfate free and they are pH balanced.
The Moroccan argan oil shampoo and conditioner help protect your
hair from heat and UV damage.
If you wash your hair everyday or just want a lightweight moisture, this
is the right shampoo and conditioner for you.
The shampoo doesn't lather when you use it but
that's because it doesn't have any bad chemicals so that's a good thing!
After using the shampoo I use the conditioner. For best results leave it in for 3-5 minuets.
I love this shampoo and conditioner, I love the way it smells,
how it makes my hair shiny and smooth and
i'm definitely going to try more products from Organix.
Check out the Organix website here

Beauty Wonder of the Month - Honey

For this month i'm picking honey as the
Beauty Wonder of the Month.
Honey Royalty Free Stock Image - Image: 1752246

Honey is really good for you, it contains
Vitamin B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, C and
small quantities of copper, iodine and zinc.
When you are buying honey make sure it's dark
because darker honeys have more nutrients than light ones.

Honey is also really good for your skin.
It can improve your immune system.
Honey masks are really good for people
who are dealing with acne.
It's also very moisturizing and doesn't dry
out your skin.

You should try honey on your hair,
like I said it's very moisturizing and
healthy because of all the vitamins.
Honey lightens your hair and if you're a
brunette you should use honey instead for lemon
to lighten your hair.

BB cream vs. CC cream

BB creams and CC creams are everywhere nowadays,
but what's the difference ? Which one should you buy ?

BB cream stands for beauty balm or blemish balm.
It's all in one product and contains serum, primer,
 foundation, sunblock, moisturizer.
It's supposed to brighten your skin
CC cream stands for color correction or
color control.
It's supposed to have better coverage, even out
your skin tone, it has lighter texture and therefor
a less oily finish.
Basically CC creams contain everything that BB
cream has but more.

If you don't want much coverage, and you want
to brighten your skin, then you should go with the BB creams.

If you want a bit more coverage and a less oily finish
then you should go with the CC creams.

NIP + FAB Body Butter Review

I've been loving the Nip+Fab mango smoothie body butter
so much that I wanted to do a review on it.

It smells really good and I love how the smell is not overwhelming
like many other body butters. It's made for dry skin so it's pretty creamy.
You might not like it if you have oily skin.
I put it on right after a shower or a bath, but I have to
wait a little before the body butter sinks into my skin.
After 10 minuets you can already feel the difference
on your skin, it leaves your skin super soft.

This was the first product I tried from Nip+Fab
and as you can see I think it is amazing. If you
have dry skin and you like fruity scents you won't
regret buying this.
